OUR SPACES
WHARFSIDE - LEVEL 1
Located right on the water’s edge, Wharfside delivers stunning views of the Opera House and all the buzz of Circular Quay. Just steps from Cruise’s main bar, this semi-private space offers a perfect blend of open-air atmosphere and sheltered comfort. With comfortable lounge seating and ample standing room, it’s ideal for everything from casual catch-ups to lively celebrations.

THE COURTYARD - Level 1
A spacious open-air sanctuary on the harbour’s edge, The Courtyard offers stunning views of the Opera House and CBD skyline. With a mix of high tables, low seating and lounges, and easy access to the main bar, it’s ideal for relaxed, semi-private events. Permanent umbrellas provide cover from sun and drizzle, so you can settle in and soak up the city buzz.

CRUISE LOUNGE - LEVEL 2
On the second floor of the venue, Cruise Lounge delivers front-row views of Circular Quay and the harbour beyond. With plush, intimate lounge seating, protection from the elements, and easy access to the upstairs bar, it’s perfect for laid-back gatherings with a touch of sophistication. Settle in, sip something great, and soak up the buzz from your elevated vantage point.

HARBOUR DINING - LEVEL 2
Also on the second floor, Harbour Dining offers a refined yet relaxed setting with views across the harbour. This open, flexible space features low-set seating that can be arranged to suit your group, making it ideal for long lunches, shared feasts or casual celebrations. With easy access to the upstairs bar, it’s where good food and good company come together.

HARBOUR BAR - LEVEL 2
Located directly in front of our Level 2 bar, the Harbour Bar space is where social energy meets standout views. Framed by floor-to-ceiling glass, it showcases sweeping scenes of the CBD skyline and harbour beyond. With high tables ideal for mingling and easy access to the bar, it’s perfect for lively, semi-private events that want to stay close to the buzz.

CENTRE BAR - MELBA’S ROOFTOP
Perched above Circular Quay, Melba’s Rooftop pairs iconic Sydney Harbour views with relaxed sophistication. Framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and moments from the bar, the Centre Bar area places your group right in the heart of the atmosphere. With low-set seating and a stylish, open feel, it’s ideal for birthdays, anniversaries and intimate celebrations.

MARQUEE - MELBA’S ROOFTOP
Situated on our outdoor terrace under a sheltered marquee, the section boasts breathtaking skyline and harbour views, with effortless access to the bar. Featuring a relaxed mix of bench seating and low tables, it’s ideal for lunch or dinner celebrations and group gatherings.

BALCONY - MELBA’S ROOFTOP
Take in one of Sydney’s most spectacular outlooks from our stunning balcony. Positioned directly opposite the Opera House and framed by sweeping city skyline views, the space features a mix of high and low seating - perfect for cocktail-style events, easy mingling and soaking up the iconic scenery.

QUAYSIDE - MELBA’S ROOFTOP
Located within the bar, our Quayside area features floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing iconic views of the Sydney Opera House and harbour, with convenient access to the bar. With stylish high seating, it’s perfect for cocktail events and intimate celebrations.

Yes. We cater for most dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free. Please advise your Event Coordinator at least 10 days before your event.

No, semi-private events are not permitted to bring their own theming and entertainment. Basic items like flowers may be accepted, however this must be approved by your Event Coordinator.

Yes, our venue is fully accessible with lift access to all levels.
Paid parking is available at the Overseas Passenger Terminal (subject to availability) and throughout Circular Quay. A designated outdoor smoking area is also available.

We have wet weather plans in place and will work with you to ensure your event runs seamlessly, whatever the weather.

Yes. Guests under 18 are welcome until 10:00pm when accompanied by a responsible adult.
